      When I opened the lid to the candle, I expected a fake artificial smell like most candles but to my surprise it smelled very fresh. The smell was so strong but not in a bad way. They smelled like a fresh piece of lemon meringue pie and fresh strawberries. Reminds me of my childhood playing with the dolls. Very happy with my purchase.
